Bridal Party

Officiant
Reverend, Joe Hayes
Joe Hayes will be officiating the ceremony. This is very special for me because this is my brother. When Bryan and I began talking about who would perform the ceremony, we talked about who we could ask and if we just needed to get someone from the court house to do it for us. But that way is so impersonal. I don't want a total stranger standing before me, Bryan and our family and friends and they have no clue who we are. We then thought of Joe and knew it was the right idea. We mentioned to him that we'd like for him to do it and he jumped on the idea. In a matter of 2 weeks he was ordained to perform our wedding. I look at this now and it is a wonderful idea but when it comes to the day of the wedding, I'm sure I won't be able to keep it together because my dad may have hung the moon but Joe hung the stars. Oh jeez, where are the Kleenexes?!

His

Adam Head - Best Man

This is Adam Head. He has been Bryan's best friend since elementary school. They marched in high school band together along with the Redcoat Marching Band at the University of Georgia. At the end of their stint in college, they took a motorcycle trip from Athens, Georgia to San Francisco, California and back. That is a story you should probably ask one of them to tell. Adam currently lives in Athens with his fiancee and owns a CrossFit gym. I can't wait to see what he has in store for Bryan's bachelor party.

                                                         Kyle Dondero- Groomsman
This is Mr. Dondero. Has also been one of Bryan's best friends since they were in school. Kyle also graduated from Jackson County along with Bryan, Adam and Rickie. Kyle and his sweet dog Kanga live in Athens where he is one with himself. I've actually thought about calling on him around the middle of the semester for some meditation. Lord knows I need it.... BAD!  He is fluent in Spanish and has had the opportunity to live in Mexico for a few months. That skill will get him places in the long run.

Rickie Christopher - Groomsman
Rickie is a uber sweet guy that has stuck by Bryan for a while. He is also one of the four that graduated from Jackson County High School. Rickie lived with Bryan and Adam for a short time in Athens and is now in culinary school to be a chef. I can honestly say that each one of these four boys brings out wonderful characteristics in the others. Rickie helps Bryan stay grounded and reminds him of where he came from, often.

Hers

Michelle- Maid of Honor
Michelle is my sister and will be my maid of honor. She has been and will always be my best friend. Sure, we fight but it's because we think we both know everything and we're so much alike. But when the day is over, she's still my sister and I can't imagine life without her. She currently lives in Midwest City, Oklahoma with my oldest niece, Amanda and my brother-in-law, Jay. She's in school right now (again) and works at a mental health facility for youth.

Kayla Kobos- Bride's Maid
Where do I start with Kayla? I met Kayla through a mutual friend during my freshman year at UGA and we became fast friends. We then became tailgate buddies for every Georgia home game which progressed into weekly dinner dates and chatting on Facebook while watching The Real Housewives of Orange County. She's my lifetime Valentine and one of the greatest friends I've ever had. She graduated from UGA in December of '10 and is now looking for a job as an elementary school teacher. She currently live with Jasmine (her cat/dog) in Monroe. Seriously, everyone needs a Kayla in their lives.

Tammy Hayes- Bride's Maid
If you didn't already put the pieces together, Tammy is (Reverend) Joe's wife. She came into my life while I was in elementary school and has stuck around since. Tammy has taught me everything I need to know about growing up as a girl. My mom sent me to her with all of the crazy "what does this do?" questions I've ever had. She's found her niche with children and is currently in school to be an elementary school teacher... that is, if algebra doesn't step in her way. She lives in Statham with Grand Poobah Joe and my niece, Kayla and nephew, Jordan.

Peanut Gallery

These are my nieces and nephew. Amanda is the oldest, Jordan is the only boy and Kayla is the youngest. They range from ages 6 to 11 and I'm trusting them to get down the aisle without throwing their flowers, losing the rings, or hating their dress to the point they won't walk at all.

Please come and see our circus perform!!

Seriously, they're inseparable.
